Marmot Limelight 2 Person Dome Tent Review
The Marmot Limelight 2-Person Tent is a great hiking tent because it is a light weight tent. Weighing only 2.5 kg, this tent is also perfect for touring camp trips.
It’s also easy to setup. The poles are color-coded and has easy pitch clips for a fast assembly. You can set up the tent in 10 minutes.
The tent has 2 large D shaped doors for easy access and 2 vestibules so you will have a lot of space for your stuff.
This is a 3-season tent which can handle most of Australia’s weather. You can take it along Victoria’s state grounds or do an overnight stay in the coasts of NSW.
Offers a lot of protection with its seam taped full coverage fly. The tub-like floor design is waterproof and full steam sealed. You have pop up vents on the fly so there will be minimum to no condensation inside the tent.
There’s a free foot print included in the Marmot Limelight 2-Person Tent.
Pros
Light weight – This tent is ideal for backpacking and bike tours because it’s so light.
Spacious – Accommodates 2 people but has enough space to move around.
Easy setup – The color coded poles and clips helps set up the tent faster.
Cons
Can’t Handle Extreme Climates – Because it’s this is a 3-season tent it wouldn’t be a good idea to bring this along snowy areas.
Pricey – This tent is considered as one the low budget tents in the Marmot brand but it’s still a bit costly than the average dome tent.
